Beth Garbutt | Food & Beverage Director, Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa
After completing her degree in Sports Science & Management from Nottingham Trent University in the UK, Beth went on to pursue her true passion in the world of Hospitality and Food & Beverage, enrolling in the renowned Ballymaloe Cookery School in Ireland and completing internships at top luxury hotel such as, Brown’s Hotel in London and Sandy Lane in Barbados.
In 2013, she moved back home to Grenada to join her family business, Calabash Luxury Boutique Hotel & Spa, which her parents have owned since 1987. At Calabash, she serves as the Food & Beverage Director, overseeing and organising the running of the bars, restaurants and events of the hotel. Alongside her parents and siblings, she is also heavily involved in the general management of the hotel.
The Pure Grenada Music Festival is a world-class event and excellent exposure for Grenada and Beth is proud to be a part of the organising committee of this year’s event.
