Media Accreditation Conditions

  • Media accreditation is reserved for members of the press (print, radio, TV, film, news agencies and online media) who represent a significant media organization. Freelancers will not be accredited unless they are assigned by a recognized media organization and meet all other media requirements.
  • Applications by professional bloggers will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. Suitability and aligned goals will be taken into account along with the other selection criteria outlined above for eligibility.
  • A maximum of 2 media credentials per request per outlet for working media only will be granted.
  • All media passes are strictly personal and nontransferable. If changes to the person accredited need to be made, please contact the PGMF office.
  • Approved Media (local) must attend a media briefing one week prior to the festival (date and venue to be confirmed). At this briefing, on presentation of photo identification, media accreditation will be allocated.
  • On arrival to the festival, approved media must check in at Media Station.
  • Accreditation must be worn and displayed at all times.
  • Abuse of passes will result in the cancellation and removal of the accreditation for everyone from the associated organization.
  • Media & photographers are not permitted in backstage areas unless escorted by a Media Liaison. Should this not be adhered to, the PGMF reserves the right to immediately cancel accreditation and revoke all festival access.
  • Photographers are permitted access to the area between the main stage and the crowd barrier but must be escorted by a member of the Media liaison team. As the barrier is provided primarily to assist security in crowd control and patron safety, photographers must be aware of the crowd activity and security at all times. Security and staff instructions must be adhered to at all times.
  • Use of flash is not permitted.
  • The Media liaison team will advise Media & Photographers of any other requirements or restrictions as it relates to artist performances.
  • Media & Photographers must comply with the conditions of entry to the festival as well as adhere to the PGMF Health and Safety Policy.
  • Photography of artists will be permitted based on their prior written approval with the festival, who will then inform and manage specific permissions.
  • All/any filming of artists is strictly prohibited without prior approval from artist and festival.
  • The sale of images taken at Pure Grenada Music Festival (PGMF) is strictly prohibited, unless permitted in writing by the Festival Director.
  • A copy of all photographic/broadcasted material must be forwarded to the Festival Office for approval prior to publishing.
  • All material must be submitted in a published format, and all digital media coverage to be supplied.
  • A breach of the guidelines, or the refusal to follow the direction of PGMF officials and security, will result in the forfeit of your media accreditation and removal from the festival.
  • Accredited media will be entitled to a complimentary entry. This credential DOES NOT include accommodation, flights and transfer arrangement at the festival.
  • Applications must be filled out completely to be considered.
  • Approval is at the discretion of the Pure Grenada Music Festival.
  • Media accreditation for 2018 closes on Friday 24 th March, 2018.
