Etana rises with 'I Rise' album

Reggae star Etana has returned to the top tier of the Billboard Reggae charts with her album 'I Rise'.  The album, released on VP Records, jumped back into the top 10 this week based on a fillip from her successful West Coast tour with Hawaiian artiste Huawei.
"I believe it is a push that comes from the tour, a combination of the tour, my recent PR, and reconnecting with my fans in the midwest, and now the 'Queen of the Island' West Coast tour," she said.

Festival Launch

Under a moonlit sky on the green at Port Louis, the Steering Committee of the Pure Grenada Music Festival, chaired by Jana Caniga, welcomed an audience that represented a varied cross-section of Grenadians to the introduction of the Pure Grenada Music Festival.

With 314 days before the start of the inaugural Pure Grenada Music Festival, the occasion of the launch of the festival on Thursday, May 28th, 2015 spoke volumes to the state of preparedness for this new and exciting addition to the Grenadian entertainment calendar.

We are musicians and lovers of music, believers in the power of art and expression. The beautiful island of Grenada is our home.
